The Omni offers many onsite activities. Contact the resort to schedule golf, tennis, pickleball or to visit the Mokara Spa. Lawn games, miniature golf and a nature trail are also available. A weekly schedule of resort activities is available at check-in.

Within Zilker Park's 358 acres lies one of the crown jewels of Austin: Barton Springs Pool. The pool itself measures three acres in size, and is fed from underground springs with an average temperature of 68-70 degrees, ideal for year-round swimming.

One of our favorites! Elizabeth Street Café is a neighborhood Vietnamese café and French bakery in South Austin. The restaurant boasts sunny dining rooms, a shady garden patio, and serves fresh breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner as well as takeout. Known for great croissants, bánh mì served on fresh baked baguettes, spring rolls, steaming bowls of pho, and house cocktails.

Where our first date was! Josephine house offers breakfast, lunch, brunch, happy hour, and dinner. The Clarksville cottage features a small marble bar for coffee or cocktails, intimate tables in the dining room, shady nooks on our patio and a grassy front lawn for lounging. Serving an eclectic menu featuring the best locally sourced products.

A great oyster bar & seafood joint on South Congress Avenue. Perla’s offers fresh fish and oysters flown in daily from both coasts with an emphasis on sourcing from the Gulf of Mexico and simple, clean preparations. The bar makes delicious coastal cocktails and the wine list is stocked with fun sparkling, rosé & white wines.

Perla’s has Austin’s prettiest oak-shaded patio and a comfortable airy dining room featuring a huge saltwater fish tank, poured concrete oyster bar and open kitchen. Perla’s offers lunch and dinner daily, brunch Saturday and Sunday, and happy hour Tuesday through Friday.

Created by Founder Kevin Williamson, he used to sneak ice-cold tequila in his water jug on hunting trips with his father, inspiring Ranch 616’s signature drink by mixing reposado tequila and orange liqueur over ice and serving it with lime and a bottle of Topo Chico.
